Interactive Learning
Breaking down technical content into fun and relatable lessons doesn’t just make for engaging live classes. With online learning platforms like Educative.io, freeCodeCamp.org, KodeKloud.com, and many more - the quality of tools for creating memorable learning experiences for students has seen a massive leap. Online learning is not only a great way to up-skill but also a huge market.
I’m currently creating a course on Educative.io called Building Interactive Data Stories with Svelte and D3, sharing what I’ve learned over the years in creating interactive content for the web and diving into the fascinating world of data storytelling. The course offers learners a hands-on learning experience including a guided project, code sandboxes, diagrams, quizzes and clear and well structured technical writing.
The possibilities of transferring knowledge using digital means are vast, but this doesn’t mean all of them are equally effective. A great deal of balancing is needed to design courses that are coherent on all levels while keeping the content fun and engaging at the same time.
